It was that time of year where Christmas Markets are a thing. We were not able to go the year before so we decided to go for this year. This event happens every year and spans from November to December. Please checkout my vlog about the Yokohama Christmas Market .

What to expect
There is an entrance fee of 500 Yen. Inside there are many shops. Many of which are “Authentic German”. I am not German myself, but as per our German companion the event was generally ok. Don’t forget to get yourself some sausages, gluwine ( non alcohol available ) and maybe some pretzels.
How to Get there
The closest station I think is the Nihon Odori station on the Minato Mirai Line. From there is just a short walk ( less than 600 meters )
If you are coming from Tokyo, one tip i can give is to ride the Fukotoshin Line (if you are coming from anywhere between Ikebukuro and Shibuya ), or the Toyoko line ( if you are already in Shibuya ). Make sure the destination is “Motomachi Chukagai”.
The reason is that this is just ONE PHYSICAL TRAIN and you do not need to get off. If you are lucky it will be a limited express train (faster) from Shibuya Station
If you are done with the Christmas Market you can always check out the 2 Red Brick Warehouses. Just be aware that the prices there are slightly higher since it is a tourist attraction.
